Role Overview

The Customer Service Manager plays a vital role in delivering an exceptional customer experience at the Mount Albert location. This individual oversees shipping, receiving, and inventory management, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations. They lead and develop the customer service team, promote safety and professionalism, and collaborate closely with sales and procurement to anticipate and meet grower needs.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Oversee all shipping, receiving, and inventory management activities at the location.
  2. Collaborate with Sales Leads and the Procurement Coordinator to plan for seasonal customer needs.
  3. Build, lead, and coach a high-performing customer service team that aligns with AAT's service strategy.
  4. Develop and implement training programs and safe operating procedures consistent with AAT's Health & Safety Plan.
  5. Foster clear, proactive communication among staff and customers.
  6. Maintain facilities and equipment to ensure a safe, organized, and professional work environment.

Role Requirements

  • Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset and strong customer focus.
  • Experience leading or managing a team.
  • Demonstrated planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Understanding of the agricultural industry and agronomic practices (preferred).
  • Ability to identify service gaps and implement effective solutions.
