Role Overview
The Customer Service Manager plays a vital role in delivering an exceptional customer experience at the Mount Albert location. This individual oversees shipping, receiving, and inventory management, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations. They lead and develop the customer service team, promote safety and professionalism, and collaborate closely with sales and procurement to anticipate and meet grower needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all shipping, receiving, and inventory management activities at the location.
- Collaborate with Sales Leads and the Procurement Coordinator to plan for seasonal customer needs.
- Build, lead, and coach a high-performing customer service team that aligns with AAT's service strategy.
- Develop and implement training programs and safe operating procedures consistent with AAT's Health & Safety Plan.
- Foster clear, proactive communication among staff and customers.
- Maintain facilities and equipment to ensure a safe, organized, and professional work environment.

Role Requirements
- Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset and strong customer focus.
- Experience leading or managing a team.
- Demonstrated planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Understanding of the agricultural industry and agronomic practices (preferred).
- Ability to identify service gaps and implement effective solutions.
