In this role, you will be part of the Transaction Analytics team, supporting the fast-paced financial due‑diligence phase of M&A deals. You will partner with CEOs, boards, private equity, and government stakeholders to provide data‑driven insights, identify risks and opportunities, and challenge value drivers. The opportunity
Our core work involves high‑speed financial due diligence. Using data and analytics, we evaluate a target company’s financial performance and business projections, uncover hidden trends, and quantify impacts on the final asset value. You will work alongside cross‑disciplinary teams to deliver deeper insights and challenge assumptions. This role offers the chance to build your own client relationships, grow your sector profile, and contribute to innovative solutions across the M&A lifecycle. Your Key Responsibilities
You will lead engagements as a Director, overseeing the project approach, managing client expectations, and delivering actionable insights through written reports, presentations, and client discussions. Your responsibilities include: Plan and monitor the progress of the team Share technical and other knowledge with your team and the department Build and develop internal and external networks through personal contacts Understand the firm’s capabilities and identify opportunities to sell additional services Play a role in business plan initiatives (e.g., key accounts, recruitment, client service framework) Act as a true business adviser to the client and establish yourself as a key client contact Skills and Attributes for Success
Financial and commercial acumen to understand client challenges Ability to gather, verify and assess information to formulate conclusions Fast analytical skills focused on rapid insight generation Strong attention to detail with a logical and methodical approach Experience in planning, preparing and reviewing deliverables in visualisations, reports, presentations and client discussions Excellent teamwork and communication skills Ability to communicate key messages to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders Business development mindset and innovation awareness Strong commercial experience and/or relevant industry or transaction experience (including financial due diligence) Knowledge of data manipulation and integration analytic tools such as Alteryx, SQL and Excel Excitement to learn and share knowledge through training of others: Passion for providing high‑quality service to clients Experience coaching and mentoring team members Extensive experience communicating with stakeholders and clients Ideally, you’ll also have
ACA, ACCA or equivalent qualification Experience with data visualisation tools such as PowerBI or Tableau Proficiency in advanced analytics languages (Python, SQL, R) Leading teams in a high‑paced transaction environment; strong understanding of how analytics can add value throughout the transaction lifecycle Effective time‑management, able to remain calm under pressure to meet deadlines Team player who builds effective relationships at all levels What We Look For
