Opportunity As a Senior Business Analyst, you will work on complex change initiatives throughout the project lifecycle, leading Business Analysis activities within Openwork’s Business Analysis Framework.
Responsibilities
Uncover underlying problems and define why they should be addressed.
Structure and define stakeholder needs to identify the best solutions.
Bridge the gap between stakeholder requirements and technical solutions, ensuring deliverables meet business goals.
Lead Business Analysis activities on programmes and coordinate with cross‑functional teams.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand current processes, identify improvement opportunities, and design changes.
Produce clear and detailed user stories, requirements and documentation to support build, test and delivery.
Facilitate workshops and meetings, presenting findings to sponsors and stakeholder groups.
Support build, test and business readiness activities throughout the project lifecycle.
Set the approach for BA work packages, mentor junior BAs, and ensure governance of processes.
Analyze data, derive insights, and support technology solutions through data interpretation.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented changes and provide continuous improvement recommendations.
Qualifications
Experience in business analysis within the financial services industry.
Proven ability in complex business and systems analysis, translating business needs into functional and technical requirements.
Relevant qualifications such as BCS Diploma in Business Analysis, Lean Six Sigma, or equivalent.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Information Technology, or related field.
Experience with project management tools and methodologies.
Experience on projects delivered by third‑party vendors.
Working proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Excel, Tableau.

Salary – up to £60,000
Bonus scheme – 10% on target bonus

Location & Working Arrangements Permanent, hybrid role based in our Swindon office. Office presence required 2–3 days a week.
