Comprehensive Orthopaedics is seeking an ambitious Physical Therapy Lead to grow and maintain patient flow in our Southington office. The Physical Therapy Lead plays a pivotal role in coordinating and delivering high-quality physical therapy services for patients, particularly those undergoing orthopedic surgery. This role combines clinical expertise with managerial responsibilities, ensuring effective patient care while overseeing a team of Physical Therapy Assistants and Physical Therapy Aides within the clinic. The Physical Therapy Lead collaborates with our orthopedic doctors to provide pre- and post-surgery rehabilitation, as well as other therapeutic interventions. Salary is determined based on skills & prior experience.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of patients to determine their physical therapy needs.
* Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on clinical assessments and orthopedic surgeons' recommendations.
* Grow and maintain patient schedule in our Southington location
* Communicate effectively with orthopedic doctors, other healthcare professionals, and clinic staff to ensure seamless patient care.
* Ensure compliance with clinic policies, safety protocols, and ethical standards.
* Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that promotes professional growth and development.
Qualifications:
* Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
* Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
* Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) and clinic management software.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50.00 - $65.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
