Inside Sales Representative Hey guys, we are hiring! Check out our job posting below for our new inside sales position.
Position Summary We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Inside Sales Representative to support our sales team and provide exceptional service to our customers. This individual will serve as a primary point of contact for incoming customer inquiries, assist with sales opportunities, support marketing initiatives, and ensure smooth day-to-day communication between customers, outside sales representatives, and internal departments.
Key Responsibilities
Answer all incoming phone calls and direct customers to the appropriate individual or department.
Provide customers with product lead times, order ETA information, and respond to general inquiries.
Process customer pick-up requests and coordinate with appropriate personnel.
Route sales opportunities to the assigned outside sales representative and direct warranty inquiries to the appropriate department.
Proactively contact existing customers who have not purchased recently through phone, email, and text to identify new sales opportunities.
Maintain accurate records of customer communications and sales activities in OJ.
Provide daily updates to outside sales representatives regarding customer outreach and opportunities identified.
Prepare and send professional customer communications while copying management as required.
Greet walk-in customers, provide quotes when appropriate, and gather information for the outside sales team.
Assist with creating and distributing email marketing campaigns, including promotions, brochures, product information, and company updates.
Accept incoming deliveries and notify the appropriate personnel for receiving and processing.
Provide general administrative support to the sales team.
Complete additional responsibilities and special projects as assigned by management.
Qualifications & Skills
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Professional and courteous customer service attitude.
Excellent organization and time-management skills.
Ability to multitask and manage multiple customer requests throughout the day.
Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
Comfortable using email, phone systems, and customer relationship management software.
Reliable transportation and the ability to consistently report to the workplace as scheduled.
Previous customer service, inside sales, administrative, or sales support experience preferred.
