Airgas is looking for a customer service and sales professional to partner with customers in the Jonesboro, AR area. The role is full‑time, Monday–Friday with no weekend work. Key Responsibilities
Serve as a trusted guide, advising customers on industrial, medical, and specialty gases, welding equipment, and related supplies. Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external partners. Ensure accurate paperwork, coding, costing, and pricing. Manage order entry and process transactions, assist with deposit reconciliation. Coordinate via phone, e‑mail, and in person to provide cost and delivery information. Contribute to an outgoing call strategy to support branch growth. Coordinate merchandise transfer between locations and maintain showroom displays. Act in a supportive manner with customers, vendors, and colleagues to maintain a positive work atmosphere. Operate equipment and forklift as required, ensuring safety and PPE usage. Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree preferred. Minimum 2 years of customer service and/or sales experience. Strong proficiency in Microsoft/Google applications. Ability to handle cash transactions accurately. Ability to lift 25–75 lbs routinely, and 76–125 lbs with material handling equipment. Compliance with Airgas safety programs, OSHA, and related regulations. Preferred Qualifications
Bilingual in Spanish (fluent in speaking, writing, and reading). Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification. Knowledge of welding, gases, industrial, and safety supply sales. Benefits
