Assisting with surgical procedures by preparing and organizing the operating room meticulously Upholding sterile fields while adhering strictly to infection control protocols Passing instruments and supplies to surgeons and surgical assistants with precision Preparing and managing surgical equipment before, during, and after procedures Monitoring supplies and ensuring every operation is fully equipped Collaborating with nurses, anesthesiologists, and other surgical staff to deliver seamless care Maintaining accurate surgical counts and impeccable documentation Education Requirements:
Successful completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program A high school diploma or equivalent is required Certifications Needed:
Active CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) credential is essential BLS certification must be obtained within 90 days of hire Key Skills and Attributes:
