Eversource supports work‑life balance by offering hybrid schedules for certain roles. Eligibility is based on job responsibilities, operational needs, and team dynamics. Current guidelines require employees to work at least three days in the office, including Tuesdays and Wednesdays, with the third day set by the employee and supervisor. All applicants must be able to work up to five days in the office if needed.
This position is responsible for the research, analysis and evaluation necessary to develop and support new business opportunities within Energy Efficiency. The job will involve working with our sales, implementation, and product management teams to define questions, communicate, and implement new initiatives; collaborating with the database administrator to obtain data; and analyzing that data to answer business questions. The role will also develop, implement, and support reporting, analytics, and business‑intelligence solutions for the organization.
Essential Functions
Capture, interpret, and understand business needs; analyze, evaluate, and document data requests from stakeholders.
Structure data to provide clear insights; combine multiple sources to create integrated views that drive decisions.
Translate business requirements into reporting solutions that meet objectives, and manage the analytical project lifecycle from concept through implementation.
Lead the development of new data sources and methods to improve collection, analysis, and reporting.
Monitor the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and recommend improvements.
Communicate findings and recommendations to peers and senior management.
Research and recommend new business opportunities and market segments; analyze data to measure campaign effectiveness.
Conduct research, evaluation, and analysis of relevant databases to identify energy‑usage patterns for new programs or sales leads.
Perform analyses and prepare forecasts and recommendations on product preferences, coverage, market penetration, practices, and sales trends.
Conduct detailed quantitative analyses of consumer databases and external data sources to develop data‑driven insights.
Qualifications Technical Knowledge/Skill
MS Access
MS Excel
Statistical analysis
Database management
Education
BA or BS degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Environmental Studies, or a related field.
Master’s degree preferred in the same fields.
Experience
Five (5) or more years of business intelligence, analytics, or related research experience.

Compensation and Benefits Eversource offers a competitive total rewards program. Salary is commensurate with experience. This position is eligible for a potential incentive. The annual salary range for this position is $115,730.00 – $128,590.00.
