Senior Analytics Engineer – Marketing & Growth Analytics (Minecraft)
for our client, a data and analytics innovator and global technology leader. In this
remote
or hybrid
(Redmond) role, you will design and build scalable data pipelines, robust data models, and high-impact analytics solutions that power performance marketing, AI/ML, and product insights. You'll work hands-on with modern data engineering tools (SQL, Python, Spark, Airflow) to transform complex data into actionable intelligence that drives business decisions. This is a high-visibility opportunity to shape data infrastructure and directly influence outcomes for one of the most widely recognized gaming ecosystems in the world.

Opportunity Overview: This role sits at the center of data, marketing, and product innovation, supporting large-scale analytics initiatives within a globally recognized gaming franchise. You will help scale performance marketing capabilities while building foundational data systems used across AI, reporting, and product teams. The work is highly impactful, with opportunities to influence strategy, define data standards, and build new systems from the ground up.
How you will make an impact: • Design and develop scalable data models and pipelines to support analytics and machine learning • Transform complex, multi-source data into clean, reliable, and usable datasets • Partner with stakeholders across marketing, product, and analytics to define requirements and deliver insights • Build reusable frameworks and data infrastructure to improve efficiency and scalability • Support performance marketing initiatives through high-quality data products and insights • Analyze structured and unstructured data to drive informed business decisions • Maintain high standards for data quality, security, and reliability
The expertise you bring: • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience) • 3–5+ years of experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, or related roles • Experience building and maintaining enterprise-scale data pipelines using tools like Spark and Airflow • Strong proficiency in SQL and Python for data transformation and automation • Experience working with cloud data platforms (Azure preferred) • Familiarity with DevOps/DataOps principles and modern data frameworks • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and translate business needs into technical solutions
