Summary

The Application Delivery Lead is responsible for solution and implementation activities as assigned for the Ryder Transportation Management (TM) technology portfolio. Major activities include customer facing, solution documentation, solution estimation, solution design, solution configuration, problem solving and solution implementation. This position will be required to work closely with business partners and extended technology team to deliver competitive and quality distribution management solutions.

Essential Functions

• SOLUTIONS DELIVERYTranslates business needs and objectives into requirements and project estimates.Enable competitive and quality technology solutions in response to business needs.Solution documentationMapping documentationSolution configurationSolution modification design, test and deliveryDesign, develop, test and deploy complex SQL query statementsDrive innovation and creative solutions to business challengesAssignments can include customer/enterprise change requests, customer projects, vertical projects, and technology projectsTest planning and support
• PRODUCT MANAGEMENTCollaborates with business partners, external customers, and other IT functional teams to contribute to the product roadmap. The roadmap is the foundation for prioritization, resource planning, and investmentContinue to develop domain expertise through project experience, industry publications/events, and self-learningDetailed knowledge of the Ryder Transportation Management platform and technology offerings
• CUSTOMERRepresent Ryder technology as the TM product subject matter expert in new/existing customer presentation/eventsPerform product demonstrations and solution trainingCustomer Facing/Communication on product capability and assigned project status
• ADMINISTRATIVEWeekly status report on assigned activitiesAccurate and timely timesheet and project required reporting

Skills and Abilities

• Well rounded knowledge of distribution/3PL industry to facilitate requirements discussion and troubleshooting efforts between business owner, Ryder customer, and IT development teams; including facilitating discussions around supply chain process implementations and/or improvements for integrated solutions
• Strong documentation skills as it relates to business requirements, functional design definition, and solution configuration
• Candidate must possess strong client facing skills and understand the mechanisms for building strong, long-lasting internal and external customer relationships, including the ability to generate results through influence
• Ability to conceptualize how systems need to be configured and used to solve daily business problems
• Problem solving; ability to solve complex supply chain challenges working in a team environment
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and tasks, set priorities, and adapt to changing conditions and work assignments (preferred)
• Ability to work with others to obtain results
• Possesses flexibility to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment
• Maintains a high degree of professionalism
• Leadership competencies Organizational Agility, Intellectual Horsepower, Dealing with Ambiguity, Integrity and Trust (preferred)

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in distribution management, supply chain, information systems, information technology, business
• Five (5) years or more in distribution / supply chain management experience. Experience in a 3PL/4PL environment preferred required
• Five (5) years or more in information technology and supply chain management systems required
• Five (5) years or more in supply chain technology project. Implementation of supply chain technology solutions required
• Five (5) years or more in use, configuration, or implementation of industry recognized distribution management solutions required
• Five (5) years or more in designing/coding custom user/system interfaces via C++., Java, Android, and PowerShell programming languages required

Compensation Information :

The compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s relevant experience; education, including relevant degrees or certifications; work location; market data/ranges; internal equity; internal salary ranges; etc. The position may also be eligible to receive an annual bonus, commission, and/or long-term incentive plan based on the level and/or type. Compensation ranges for the position are below:

Minimum Pay Range:

$95,000.00

Maximum Pay Range:

$105,000.00
