Job DescriptionAs a Armed Security Officer - Office Building, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer at a prestigious financial institution location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. In this armed role, you will support a professional environment through teamwork, integrity, and a caring approach while bringing an agile, reliable, and innovative mindset to each shift.

Pay Rate: $40.00 / Hour
Job Schedule:

- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a financial services location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and escalating concerns through established communication channels.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the interior, exterior, and perimeter of the location to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points, verify credentials, and support visitor and employee entry procedures in accordance with site-specific protocols for a professional financial institution setting.
- Assist with incident reporting, shift activity logs, and coordination with local law enforcement and/or emergency personnel when circumstances require additional response.
Minimum Requirements:
- An Armed Guard Card/License is required.
- A Law Enforcement Officer License is required.
- A Valid Firearms Permit is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
