Job DescriptionAs a Armed Security Guard - Government in Ventura, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. This is a driving post, offering the opportunity to travel throughout assigned areas, respond to concerns, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $24.53 / Hour
Job Schedule:

- Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, government location policies, and/or emergency response activities while maintaining a professional armed presence.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and document security-related activities according to site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, visitors, and contractors in accordance with site rules and government facility requirements.
- Support law enforcement and/or site leadership during emergencies, alarms, evacuations, and other security-related events as directed by post orders.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
