We are currently recruiting a Senior Occupational Therapist to join the team at an Acute setting based in Dublin. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a well-established mental health service, supporting adults across a range of psychiatric and rehabilitation pathways. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality, recovery-focused care as part of a multidisciplinary team. Key Responsibilities of the Senior Occupational Therapist: Provide specialist occupational therapy assessments and interventions within a mental health setting Support service users in developing skills for daily living, independence, and community reintegration Deliver both individual and group-based therapeutic interventions Contribute to care planning using a recovery-oriented approach Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team including psychiatry, psychology, nursing, and social work Support discharge planning and transition to community services Maintain accurate clinical documentation in line with professional standards Requirements for the Senior Occupational Therapist: Degree in Occupational Therapy CORU registration Minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience Experience working in mental health services Strong communication, clinical reasoning, and organisational skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Desirable Experience in adult mental health, rehabilitation, or inpatient settings Experience facilitating therapeutic groups Interest in recovery-oriented and person-centred practice Whats on Offer Competitive HSE-aligned salary Opportunity to work within a specialist mental health service Supportive and collaborative team environment Ongoing professional development opportunities Valuable experience in a structured therapeutic setting Contact Us: If you or someone you know is interested in this position, please send a copy of your CV to If you refer a candidate to us who is successfully hired, we can offer you a €150 thank you bonus!
