The ideal expert will be working to build relationships, be target-driven to push and generate new business, and drive the products effectively across the selected territories.

As a leader in the aftermarket industry within the automotive space, the organization aims to develop its client portfolio through this expansion of business. The director will lead a high-performing team and must be commercially aware to develop business in the market.

Responsibilities:

1. Expand and build relationships with new business and marketing strategies to generate output for the business, focusing on the Aftermarket industry for OEM.
2. Provide support and advice to the team across the business unit to drive performance across commercial and technical teams.
3. Identify market trends and business sales strategies to enter the market.
4. Ensure retention of important key relationships with significant clients for the organization.

Requirements:

1. Educational background in Engineering.
2. Over 5+ years of leadership experience within the OEM Automotive industry, leading high-performing teams.
3. Strong background in a customer network across the OEM & Aftermarket space.
4. Experience in identifying new market trends and understanding business development in new areas across the automotive market.
5. Be based in Germany, Romania, or the United Kingdom.
6. Home office based with flexibility to be on-site and travel to customers up to 50%.
