As a Clinic Support Assistant, you'll play an essential role in helping us deliver on that mission every single day. What You'll Do No two days are exactly alike, but you'll spend your time:
Cleaning and disinfecting veterinary treatment areas, surgery spaces, patient care areas, foster care spaces, and animal kennels Maintaining the highest standards of sanitation to help prevent the spread of disease Keeping exam rooms, supplies, and equipment clean, organized, and ready for use Preparing food and fresh water for animals in veterinary care while following shelter protocols Washing dishes, laundry, and assisting with special cleaning projects Making surgical packs and disinfecting tools and equipment Removing trash and recycling throughout the day Working closely with the veterinary team to ensure clinic spaces are safe, stocked, and ready to support lifesaving care Helping tell HSPPR's story by sharing special animal moments with our Philanthropy team whenever possible We're Looking for Someone Who...

Strong attention to detail Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Willingness to follow established cleaning and safety procedures Good communication skills Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing needs A positive attitude and commitment to HSPPR's mission Previous professional cleaning, janitorial, veterinary, shelter, or healthcare experience is helpful, but we're happy to train someone with the right work ethic and passion for our mission. Physical Requirements This is an active, hands-on position. You'll spend much of your day walking, standing, bending, lifting (up to 40 pounds), cleaning, and working around animals, cleaning products, and animal allergens. Schedule
Full-time Schedule may consist of either: Five 8-hour shifts, or Four 10-hour shifts
Weekend availability is required Some mornings, evenings, and holidays may be required based on organizational needs Why HSPPR?
