Job Description Data Analyst at Lancer Worldwide, a Hoshizaki Company, an award‑winning global leader in beverage dispensing. The role involves designing, building, and governing Power BI semantic models powered by Microsoft Fabric, leveraging OneLake as the centralized data foundation for trusted, high‑performing analytics.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with the BI team to execute a comprehensive BI strategy aligned with business goals.
Develop and maintain Power BI semantic models, reports, and dashboards, ensuring performance and usability.
Lead the implementation of data governance, security, and compliance practices across BI systems.
Drive adoption of DevOps and CI/CD practices for Power BI data analytic workflows.
Ensure data quality, lineage, and documentation across all data assets.
Support data migration, transformation, and integration efforts across legacy and modern systems.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable BI solutions.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members and cross‑functional collaborators.
Participate in strategic planning for BI initiatives and contribute to the overall data strategy.
Collaborate with Data Analysts outside of the IT department to accomplish corporate reporting goals.
Provide off‑hours support and assist with special projects as needed.
Qualifications
Proficiency in Azure Synapse Analytics and Microsoft Fabric.
Strong skills and experience with Power BI semantic model and dashboard development.
Experience with T‑SQL, DAX, MDX, and Python.
Familiarity with Delta Lake, Parquet, and data lakehouse architecture.
Ability to design BI solutions aligned with business goals and long‑term scalability.
Experience defining and implementing BI governance frameworks.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work with technical and non‑technical stakeholders, including Operations, Engineering, Sales, and Accounting.
Self‑starter with ability to troubleshoot, document, and resolve data issues independently.
Passion for continuous learning and innovation in data technologies.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high‑quality work under tight deadlines.
Experience leading or contributing to Agile/Scrum‑based projects is a plus.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience with advanced data modeling and BI software (Power BI).
Experience in Python, SQL, and JSON API integrations preferred.
Experience with Microsoft Azure tools (Synapse, Fabric, SSIS).
