For more information, visit corporate.carrier.com./ppAs the Commercial HVAC Solutions Sales Representative for Modernizations or Controls, you will be responsible for pursuing large opportunities that help our customers modernize their equipment pursuing opportunities for both plan/spec and design/build or direct-to-owner projects./ppThis role is a great fit for you if you thrive in a fast-paced environment, excel at building relationships, and have outstanding customer service. This is the ideal role for those that are results-oriented and are adept at handling large mechanical customer projects./ph3Job Responsibilities/h3ulliPresent at customer seminars to develop new and existing customer relationships and opportunities/liliDemonstrate expertise in Commercial HVAC/liliPromote Carrier value proposition linking customer objectives to Carrier solutions/liliManage complex multi service solutions proposals/liliUtilize CRM to manage customer interactions, activities and opportunity pipeline/liliDemonstrate well developed sales skills to include expert awareness, commercial acumen and integrity/liliSeek out and access new Modernization opportunities both with existing customers and new prospect customers/liliEstablish and build credibility/liliDevelop and sustain customer relationships/liliCreate compelling presentations and communicate effectively/liliDetect the Customers buying stage and adjust selling accordingly/liliManage multiple activities all occurring at the same time, organize others and workflow to meet objectives on time/liliAnticipate future trends accurately/liliAdapts quickly in face pace environment to gain the order/booking in a timely manner/liliConsistently achieve sales metrics and annual targets/liliCreate high quality timely estimates, bids
proposals including detailed cost benefit analysis to support clients business case for investment./li/ulh3Required Qualifications/h3ulliHigh school Diploma/GED/liliBachelors degree and 5+ years HVAC systems experience or 10+ years of HVAC systems experience in lieu of education/lili2+ years of HVAC retrofit/modernization experience/liliMust hold a valid drivers license as daily area travel is required/li/ulh3Preferred Qualifications/h3ulliKnowledge of the industry, market and key market participants/liliAbility to work in a highly team-oriented and dynamic environment/liliDemonstrated strong written, verbal and presentation skills to effectively develop expectations and relationships with internal and external customers/liliSelf-motivated and able to manage many simultaneous projects and responsibilities/liliExtremely comfortable operating in a technical environment utilizing Microsoft based computer software/liliOutstanding sales/negotiation skills and goal-orientated with strong time management and organizational skills/liliDemonstrated ability to develop a pipeline of long Lead time projects/liliStrong knowledge of offerings and solutions within the industry/liliUnderstands the customers decision-making processes including the buyers and influencers/liliPossesses strong financial and business acumen/liliUnderstands when to introduce and coordinate other selling roles and support roles into the customer/li/ulh3Pay Range/h3pThe annual salary for this position is between $79,000.00 - $158,000.00 annually.
