We are looking for a *motivated and hands-on IT Support Technician* to join our growing technical team. This role will suit someone who enjoys working across a wide range of technologies — from day-to-day IT support and troubleshooting to assisting with VoIP systems, website maintenance, and customer deployments.
You will be part of a supportive team that works across multiple offices and client businesses, providing a mix of *first-line and second-line support*. The role offers strong potential for growth into more advanced areas such as *Microsoft 365 administration, Intune management, and system deployments.*
*Key Responsibilities*
* *First-line & Second-line Support*
* Provide day-to-day technical support to office staff and external clients.
* Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and networking issues.
* Escalate complex issues to senior engineers where required.
* *Microsoft 365 & Windows Environment*
* Manage user accounts, mailboxes, and security settings in *Microsoft 365*.
* Support *Windows 10/11* installations, updates, and troubleshooting.
* Assist with *device setup and configuration* through *Intune* and Autopilot.
* *VoIP & Telecommunications*
* Configure and maintain *VoIP telephone systems*, including user extensions and call routing.
* Troubleshoot connectivity and call quality issues.
* *Web & Application Support*
* Perform basic *website administration* (updates, backups, and plugin management).
* Liaise with the web development team for small client-side adjustments or technical support.
* Manage basic hosting and domain configurations when required.
* *Deployment & On-Site Work*
* Support hardware rollout and *on-site installations* for new or existing clients.
* Assist with setting up new offices, network devices, and user workstations.
* Occasionally travel to client sites for troubleshooting or project work.
* *General Duties*
* Maintain accurate records of support tickets, configurations, and customer communications.
* Contribute to documentation and process improvements.
* Participate in ongoing training to develop technical knowledge and certifications.
*Skills & Experience*
*Essential:*
* Strong understanding of Microsoft 365, Windows, and desktop support.
* Basic networking knowledge (routers, switches, IP configuration, Wi-Fi troubleshooting).
* Experience with VoIP systems and configuration.
* Good communication and organisational skills.
* Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
*Desirable:*
* Experience with Intune, Azure AD, or Autopilot deployments.
* Understanding of WordPress or basic web technologies (HTML, DNS, cPanel).
* Full UK driving licence (or willingness to obtain one soon).
* Previous customer-facing IT support experience.
