The Tender Specialist for Leica Biosystems is responsible for tender process.
This position is part of the Tender Office, located in Buccinasco .and will be office based. At Leica Biosystems, our vision is to advance cancer diagnostics and improve lives.
You will be a part of the team in Italy and report to the Tender Team Leader responsible for managing and preparing public tenders and private agreements, supporting all the Italy Selling Units departments. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- M onitoring tender opportunities through e-Procurement platforms (such as MePA, Sintel, Start, etc.) and conducting analysis of calls for tenders of potential interest;
- Reviewing tender conditions, both in terms of eligibility requirements and compliance obligations (administrative, technical, and financial), collaborating with business, sales, legal, and technical departments to gather the necessary information;
- Managing procedures related to subcontracting and subcontracts, where applicable;
- Overseeing the entire public tender participation process, including the electronic submission phase;
- Ensuring document compliance and adherence to deadlines;
- Handling communications with contracting authorities.
The essential requirements of the job include:
- In-depth knowledge of public procurement regulations and principles related to the Digital Administration Code;
- Excellent command of IT tools, including the Microsoft Office suite (especially Excel and Word);
- Hands-on experience with e-Procurement platforms (such as MePA, Sintel, Start, etc.);
- Advanced skills in managing digital files, including:
- Use of digital signatures in all recognized formats (CAdES, PAdES, XAdES) and understanding of their differences;
- Application of timestamping and verification of the validity of signed documents;
- Compression and archiving of files (.zip, .rar formats) and optimization of document size and resolution;
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- At least 4 years of proven experience in managing public tenders within the healthcare or medical devices sector List
- Ability to independently troubleshoot technical issues related to document uploads.
- Preferred degree in Law, Economics, or other related fields (e.g., Political Science, Corporate Law)
