The role will report to the Vice President of Information Technology.
Responsibilities
Respond to help desk ticket requests when users are having technical issues with their own PCs or IT supported systems, applications, servers, etc. Maintain daily performance of computer systems, servers, backups, printers, network, and any other IT equipment. Install, modify, and repair computer hardware, peripherals, and software. Analyze and troubleshoot programs, applications, and tools to resolve problems as they arise. Follow up as directed with staff and clients to ensure issue has been resolved. Assist as directed with the implementation and coordination of new IT processes and procedures. Continuously update and audit assets, computers, and end user accounts to ensure accurate and secure company environment. Identify and respond to security incidents or concerns using approved tools and methods. Ability to sparingly work outside normal business hours (nights and/or weekends) based on project, maintenance, or emergency needs. Ability to manage smaller IT projects and report status to supervisor on a consistent basis. Qualifications
5 plus years of experience in an IT Helpdesk or similar supportive role (will consider work experience coupled with education.) Associates Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or other IT related field preferred but not required. Experience in conducting inventory and tracking of hardware for asset management. Detail oriented with dedication to customer service and teamwork, strong technology skills, organizational skills, communication skills (written and verbal), problem solving skills, and time management skills. Strong customer service skills, with ability to find ways to understand user issues and their root cause, while finding ways to enable the user to learn how to fix the problem proactively on their own in the future if possible. Ability to document 100% of issues in ticketing software for department tracking and service log for manager to review on consistent basis. Skilled in Microsoft 365 and associated administration tools, Windows PC and server OS, and VMware. Ability to quickly learn additional systems and administration tools unique to Agilix. Physical Requirements
Must be able to sit and/or stand for long periods of time for normal daily duties or special projects or equipment installs. Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at times. Company-Provided Benefits
