Responsibilities
Full responsibility, authority, and accountability for the program’s success and customer satisfaction, including program P&L.
Overall financial management: maintain the business case, monitor and control program NRE, ensure profitability through Design‑to‑Cost, update financials, and determine root cause & corrective actions for variances.
Maintain the program Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and analyze & prioritize critical‑path tasks.
Lead program bid, planning & control, develop cost estimates, and review customer requirements technical compliance.
Oversee contract compliance, scope & change management, risk & opportunity assessment, and ensure lessons learned are incorporated.
Serve as the primary point of contact with the customer, arrange program progress reviews, report status, and lead milestone gate reviews (e.g., PDR, CDR, PRR).
Lead and support the S&OP meetings, coordinate medium‑to‑long‑range planning, and monitor KPIs (earn‑value management).
Establish program governance, conduct weekly reviews, and prepare and lead IPT meetings.
Oversee assigned Project Manager(s) and IPT work‑package leaders, build teams, facilitate conflict resolution, and set program priorities.
Provide strategic guidance on day‑to‑day program issues and ensure adherence to scope control and change management.
Candidate Skills & Requirements Education : Bachelor's degree required.
Experience : 6+ years project manager or project engineer experience in a commercial aerospace environment; basic knowledge of program management methodologies and proven ability to manage complex projects.
Computer Skills
Proficient with MS Project.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Other Skills
Excellent verbal and written communication.
Leadership, organizational, and analytical skills; ability to build and maintain effective relationships.
Financial acumen, multitasking, attention to detail, problem‑solving, and high accuracy.
Ability to handle multiple projects and assignments simultaneously.
Preferred Skills (not required)
Degree in engineering.
Project Management certification (PMI, PMP, etc.).
Experience with LEAN principles and continuous improvement.
