Responsibilities
Take ownership of ensuring there are accurate records of all necessary bookkeeping, client, and sales reports in order to track and communicate the status of assigned goals
Conduct meetings with new and potential clients and carefully listen to their individual circumstances in order to present the best insurance policies to meet their needs
Commit to remaining educated about the various types of insurance, insurance-related protocols, and policy changes to ensure fulfillment of program requirements and ensure our customers are satisfied
Develop risk management strategies for each customer to ensure his or her policy needs are continuously met
Implement marketing strategies including, but not limited, to cold calling and networking to connect with potential clients while simultaneously maintaining a portfolio of current clients
Meet with clients via Zoom or phone
Review client needs and explain coverage options
Follow a simple, proven sales process
Complete basic applications and follow-up
Qualifications
Fundamental computer skills such as experience with Microsoft Office
Candidates must have or be willing to get an insurance license
Ability to learn and understand state and federal regulations that affect insurance sales, insurance clients, and the insurance industry as a whole
Basic understanding of sales lead or accounting software is helpful
Must be a superb communicator able to carefully analyze complex ideas like insurance programs; experience working in customer service is beneficial
Strong communication skills
Coachable and willing to learn
Reliable internet and phone access
Sales or customer service experience a plus (not required)
Willingness to obtain the required state insurance license (training provided)
Compensation $80,000-$100,000 per year
