The Opportunity
We are recruiting for an experienced
Data Engineer
to support delivery on a long-term, high-impact programme within a secure environment. This role is ideal for someone with strong backend engineering and data pipeline experience, combined with modern Java-based development skills. You will play a key role in designing, building, and optimising scalable data solutions that support critical business and operational outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Design, build and maintain
scalable data pipelines and data services Develop backend components using
Java and Spring Boot Work with
Docker
to containerise applications and support deployment Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust data solutions Ensure high data quality, performance, and reliability across systems Support integration of data from multiple sources into unified platforms
