General Neurologist - Full Time Physician

Outpatient Neurologist - Neuromuscular OR Movement (All Specialties Welcome to Apply) ChristianaCare, a nationally recognized leader in healthcare, is actively recruiting a BE/BC Neurologist to join Delaware's largest employed ambulatory Neurology practice. We are strongly seeking fellowship trained providers specializing in Neuromuscular Medicine and Movement Disorders , but all subspecialties are welcome to apply . This position will be based out of Newark, DE and may include rotations in Elkton, Maryland, Whitehall or Wilmington, Delaware. We are also seeking a general neurologist for our NEW practice near Rehoboth Beach, DE. Practice Details: ChristianaCare has a Movement Disorder Center comprising of 2 movement trained neurologists, 2 dedicated APPs, a dedicated Nurse, a team of support staff as well as an embedded psychologist and specialty pharmacy. Our Movement Center offers Botox therapy, DBS evaluations, as well as Focused Ultrasound for essential tremor and Parkinson's Disease. ChristianaCare currently has 1 neuromuscular specialist along with 1 dedicated APP, a dedicated Nurse, a team of support staff, a full time EMG tech, embedded psychologist and specialty pharmacy. We currently perform EMGs at our Newark location with plans to recruit another EMG tech to perform EMGs at our Whitehall location as well. The Neuroscience Service Line at ChristianaCare includes a robust inpatient neuro-hospitalist service covering a comprehensive stroke center, a neurocritical care unit, a neuro-interventional surgical service, neurosurgery, as well as a large multi-subspecialty ambulatory practice. The ambulatory practice includes 18 Board Certified Neurologists including 2 Pediatric Neurologists, 8 advanced practice providers, 7 clinical nurses, a full-time social worker, an embedded specialty pharmacy concierge and pharmacist, and an embedded psychologist. • 1:5 weekend call with no stroke call
• Can support subspecialty along with general Neurology clinical work.
• No stroke call. Advanced practice provider weekday coverage.

• BE/BC in Neurology
• Fellowship training in Neuromuscular Medicine or Movement Disorders Medicine desired but not required
• Must have the ability to be licensed in the State of Delaware and Maryland and meet credentialing requirements
