Radiographic Services Manager III Full Time Permanent Bon Secours Hospital Cork is Ireland's largest private hospital. Established in 1915, the Hospital has 343 beds, employs over 1,000 staff and cares for more than 100,000 patients per annum. It is an acute general hospital providing an extensive range of medical and surgical specialities for both adults and children including Oncology, Cardiology, Orthopaedics, Gastroenterology, General Surgery and Radiotherapy Services. Bon Secours Hospital Cork is a teaching hospital of UCC thereby making a significant contribution to the undergraduate and postgraduate teaching in medicine, nursing and allied health professions. The Hospital is proud to hold many quality accreditations including JCI, JAG, INAB, ASCO and ESMO. We are now inviting applications for the position of Radiographic Services Manager III. The Diagnostic Imaging Department at the Bon Secours Hospital Cork is equipped with the most advanced technologies including a fully integrated RIS/PACS, digital x-ray and fluoroscopy equipment, including other imaging modalities such as MRI, CT, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, Bone Densitometry, Mammography with Tomosynthesis, Interventional Radiology and Cardiac Angiography. The Radiology service at Bon Secours Hospital Cork partners with a very busy Oncology unit, elective Orthopaedic and pain management services, while also supporting a Medical Assessment Unit. Both adult and paediatric imaging are provided across a wide range of specialities. It is a particularly rewarding department to work in due to the great variety of patient profiles and the extensive range of specialities. Essential Eligibility Criteria: BSc (Hons) in Radiography or possess the diploma of the College of Radiographers or equivalent. Registration (or eligible) in the relevant division of the Radiographers Register as maintained by the Radiographers Registration Board at CORU. 6 Years post qualification experience. Possess a minimum of 10 postgraduate ECTS credits or equivalent relevant to the profession or the management of the profession. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to train and guide junior staff. Must be eligible to work in Ireland with full working rights. Must be able to demonstrate confident decision making skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team. A commitment to continuous professional development and staying current with advancements in department of Radiography technology and quality practices.
