Scope of the role This role sits at the intersection of front-end excellence and solid back-end understanding. You will own the development of high-quality user interfaces while contributing to back-end logic, integrations, and performance optimisation. You’ll work closely with designers, product managers, and other engineers to deliver reliable, scalable features end to end.
Responsibilities
Buildandmaintainresponsive,high-performancefront-endapplicationsusing modernJavaScriptframeworks
TranslateUI/UXdesignsintoclean,reusable,andaccessiblecode
Collaboratewithback-endengineers(andcontributedirectlywhenneeded)on APIs,datamodels,andintegrations
Integratefront-endcomponentswithRESTfuland/orGraphQLAPIs
Ensurecross-browsercompatibilityandoptimiseapplicationsforspeedand scalability
Participateinarchitecturaldiscussionsandcontributetotechnicaldecisions
Writemaintainablecodewithappropriatetestinganddocumentation
Debug,troubleshoot,andresolvefront-endandfull-stackissues
Workcloselywithproductanddesignteamstoiteratequicklyandimproveuser experience
Qualifications
StrongexperienceasaFront-EndEngineer(React,Vue,orsimilarframeworks)
Solidunderstandingofback-enddevelopment(Node.js,Python,Ruby,orsimilar)
ExperienceworkingwithAPIs,databases,andauthenticationflows
ProficiencyinHTML,CSS,JavaScript,andmodernfront-endtooling
Familiaritywithversioncontrolsystems(Git)andcollaborativeworkflows
Understandingofperformanceoptimisation,accessibility,andbestpractices
Comfortableworkinginafullyremote,asynchronousenvironment
Strongproblem-solvingskillsandattentiontodetail
Excellentcommunicationskillsandaproactivemindset
