Mid-America Arts Alliance is headquartered in the Crossroads Arts District of Kansas City, Missouri. M-AAA brings more art to more people in communities throughout our six-state region (Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, Oklahoma, and Texas) and the nation. With an annual operating budget of over $7 million and 30 staff members we produce and manage more than 450 exhibition, performance, and professional development opportunities in more than 300 communities for more than one million people annually. ABOUT THE POSITION
The Development Coordinator works directly with the Development team to organize and execute the fundraising efforts of Mid-America Arts Alliance. You will aid in the developing fundraising plans, participate in solving logistical issues and collaborate with multiple colleagues and divisions. You Will: Collaborate with Development team to aggregate information on prospective donors and funders Lead administrative activities required to prospect, cultivate, and steward our philanthropic relationships Compile accurate information to bolster institutional storytelling and narrative development for proposals and reports Acquire and maintain an understanding of our institutional history, range of programs, and future programmatic directions Maintain accurate donor and funder records, task management software, and Development division calendar Help plan and implement donor cultivation events Track and maintain Annual Fund Development Plan and Strategic Plan goals as they pertain to fundraising and development Draft, review, and edit written materials for a range of audiences including staff, board, donors, funders, and the general public
