Über
Within the field services department, the incumbent’s primary responsibility is to ensure the installation and commissioning of OPTEL systems at client sites. They also play a key role in maintenance, training, and technical support to guarantee customer satisfaction and loyalty. Principal tasks
Installation and Commissioning
Install OPTEL systems at client sites in accordance with established standards. Carry out mechanical and electrical installation while ensuring compliance with quality standards. Collaborate with the technical support and factory design team to diagnose and resolve issues. Train end-users on the proper use of OPTEL systems. Prepare complete and accurate installation reports. Support clients during system qualification.
After-Sales Service
Perform maintenance and repair on installed systems, as requested by the customer service department. Conduct engineering visits when required. Produce detailed service reports.
Other Duties
Identify potential sales opportunities (new contracts, complementary systems).
Requisite Skills
College diploma in electronics, computer science, electromechanics, or related field, or equivalent experience. Strong knowledge in computer science and electronics. Experience in the pharmaceutical, food, or cosmetics industries (asset). Hands-on experience in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, and/or electronic equipment. Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to explain complex technical issues clearly. Excellent time management, prioritization, and ability to work effectively under pressure. Strong client orientation and solid teamwork skills. Resourcefulness, adaptability, versatility, and flexibility. Availability to travel approximately three weeks per month. Valid driver’s license and passport. High curiosity and willingness to learn and adopt new technologies, particularly artificial intelligence. Benefits
