for occasional site visits)
We’re seeking an experienced
Electrical Engineer
with strong
Revit proficiency
and a proven ability to work independently in a
100% remote environment . This role supports
multidisciplinary infrastructure projects nationwide , including
transit, aviation, water/wastewater, roadway, and utility systems .
You’ll play a key role in producing electrical designs, coordinating across disciplines, and supporting projects from concept through construction.
What You’ll Do:
Electrical Design & Production
Design power distribution, lighting, grounding, communications, and control systems
Develop and modify Revit-based electrical models, drawings, families, and documentation
Produce one-lines, panel schedules, circuiting diagrams, conduit layouts, and schematics
Perform load calculations, short‑circuit studies, arc flash assessments, and other analyses
Support SCADA, communications, and traction power interfaces
Project Coordination
Collaborate remotely with mechanical, civil, structural, traction power, communications, and controls teams
Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and public agencies
Participate in virtual design reviews and contribute technical recommendations
Support design development from concept through final construction documents
Quality, Codes & Compliance
Apply NEC, NFPA, IES, NESC, AASHTO, FAA, and related standards
Support QA/QC processes to ensure accuracy and compliance
Assist with federally funded and agency‑specific project requirements
Construction Support
Review RFIs, submittals, and shop drawings
Support occasional field investigations and site visits
✅ What We’re Looking For :
Required
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (ABET‑accredited)
Strong, hands‑on
Revit
experience (electrical modeling, coordination, sheet production)
3+ years of electrical engineering design experience in infrastructure or similar markets
Proven success working 100% remotely
Proficiency in AutoCAD (MicroStation a plus)
Solid understanding of NEC and applicable electrical codes
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Preferred
EIT or PE (or ability to obtain)
Experience working with public agencies (DOTs, transit authorities, airports, water authorities)
Familiarity with SCADA, communications systems, or traction power
Experience on federally funded projects
