Key Responsibilities
Support the Risk Team with day‑to‑day risk management activities under guidance from senior team members.
Assist in the identification and documentation of financial and operational risk across Copper’s products, services and processes.
Support financial risk monitoring activities, such as tracking exposures, limits and key risk indicators under supervision.
Help prepare risk reporting and management information using Excel and other tools, including simple summaries and trackers.
Support coordination with internal teams (Finance, Operations, Product, Technology) to gather information for risk reviews and assessment.
Assist with the documentation of risk incidents and issues, including logging updates and following up on remediation actions.
Help collect and organise information used in risk assessments, including inherent risk description, control mappings and action tracking.
Essential Qualifications
Currently in your second year at university or a year before graduation, completing a Risk Management, Business studies, Finance/Economics Degree or related field.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Comfortable using Excel for simple data analysis and reporting.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately with data and documentation.
Desirable Qualifications
Knowledge of the Fintech industry.
Internship Details
Start date: Monday 6th July 2026
End date: Friday 28th August 2026
Intern Assessment Day: Tuesday 17th March 2026
Hourly pay: £14
Location: London, Soho – five days on‑site, 9am to 6pm
