Senior Full Stack Developer . In this role, you will engage in and drive development for the analytics, surveillance and data portion of the riskCanvas End-to-End Anti-Money Laundering Tool Suite. This person will work to grow the business through creating groundbreaking technical solutions in order to maintain and grow our client base. Use of technical solutions to transform and analyze large data sets is crucial to this role. Also necessary is expertise in big data, data storage and retrieval, methods of analysis and statistical calculation, optimization and algorithm design and implementation. As a technical leadership role, comfort in quickly designing and explaining solutions to clients is key. Working both directly and indirectly for clients, one would need excellent consulting and technical skills and the ability to work with both high level business leaders and technical staff. Responsibilities Lead brainstorming sessions to develop potential solutions using riskCanvas Products Suite for business needs or problems in financial crime risk management, Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Know Your Customer (KYC), onboarding, outreach, transactions monitoring (TM), risk scoring, and sanctions screening to drive key business outcomes. Client facing, continuously work with the business/client to focus on meeting business outcomes and incorporating broader aspects such as overall product quality, user experience feedback, costs/revenue, risk management, data privacy & regulations, business continuity, information security, integration with internal and external third-party systems, etc. Identify opportunities for process improvements involving technology, domain and data management life cycle. Ability to shadow existing operations to document as-is process state and catalogue client environment tools, technology, data assets and database structures. Drive business impact by applying existing digital assets or developing incremental assets within a specific technology stack. Ability to work across multiple simultaneous projects with varied stakeholders, Solutions and Technical Architects, engineering teams, product managers, project managers, product analysts, test and project teams, Information Security and Operations. Communicate and consult with clients and internal stakeholders for business requirements, liaising with product and delivery teams to develop scalable solutions and products for global markets. Work with technology, service, and data vendors, evaluate offerings for continued and/or further integration, as well as recommending their discontinuation. Problem solver, ability to work independently to resolve discrepancies with clients and service lines throughout the engagement. Lead and train team members. Qualifications we seek in you! Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Engineering, Computer Science, IT. Relevant experience in the IT industry. Preferred Qualifications/Skills Strong understanding of the server side programming languages like Java or Python. Experience working, designing, and/or leading implementations of Case Management systems. CAMS certification and/or prior experience of solutions in Financial Crimes or the Compliance domain. Master’s Degree or equivalent in Engineering, Computer Science, IT. Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills, including technical writing. Ability to drive collaboration across large geographically spread teams. Experience with Big Data & Data Analytics. Experience using distributed and parallel computing technologies, including Hadoop, MapReduce, and Spark, to write batch and streaming analytic processing jobs. Experience in XML, JSON. Experience with machine learning algorithms, statistics, operations research or data analysis. Experience implementing and demonstrating Elasticsearch or a similar indexer. Ability to learn quickly and work independently. Exemplary technical communications skills. Experience with git. Experience working in an agile environment. Experience working with other big data technologies (Kafka, Neo4J, Flink, Ignite, etc.). Experience with Linux operating systems. Experience with implementing rapid response query solutions on Big Data platforms, including indexing for combinations and variations of temporal, spatial, and textual. Experience with relational databases, including SQL. Experience with exposing query and analytic capabilities as RESTful services. Experience with Scala, R. Experience teaching and leading technical conversations. Familiarity with visualization and user interface technologies. The approximate annual base compensation range for this position is $125,000 to $145,000. The actual offer, reflecting the total compensation package plus benefits will be determined by a number of factors which include but are not limited to the applicant's experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities; geographic location; and internal equity.
