The Product Manager is pivotal in managing a specific line of products within SENKO, particularly those targeted for data center applications and connectivity solutions. This role involves end-to-end oversight, from development through to sales. Key responsibilities include analyzing market trends and customer needs within the data center space to develop competitive strategies, managing the full product lifecycle, and collaborating across R&D, engineering, marketing, and sales to ensure alignment with product objectives and market demands. The Product Manager will monitor costs associated with product development and play an essential role in executing marketing and sales initiatives aimed at data center markets. Regular analysis of customer insights and market trends is vital to understand consumer preferences, identify potential product improvements, and drive innovation. In addition to developing strategic plans, the Product Manager will track product performance against critical metrics, such as sales volume and customer satisfaction, to inform future decisions. This role requires a blend of strategic vision, cross-functional collaboration, financial acumen, and deep market analysis to support the success and profitability of SENKO’s data center-focused product line. Fully understand company strategy and expectations, proactively seeking ways to maximize the profitability of assigned products, particularly within the data center market Manage the product development cycle for new products, from initial conceptualization through to a successful product launch, with a focus on data center market demands Collaborate with the marketing team to provide targeted information, insights, and direction for effective product promotion, assisting with the development and refinement of marketing strategies tailored to the data center space Monitor and analyze market trends and competitors to ensure that products remain competitive and well-positioned within the industry Develop long-term product development and sales strategies in coordination with management, with an emphasis on achieving strong market positioning and growth in the data center segment Create pricing models and forecast profitability to inform decision-making and ensure financial targets are met Conduct in-depth research to identify and anticipate customer needs and expectations, guiding the development of new, innovative products that address market gaps, particularly for data center applications Enhance product knowledge for Sales team members to improve customer interactions and increase the team’s capability to sell data center-focused solutions effectively Prepare and arrange sales support materials (e.g., flyers, specification sheets) that reinforce sales activities and ensure consistency across all documentation Increase end-user engagement through spec-in activities and direct collaboration with the Outside Sales team, aiming to boost product adoption and brand loyalty Expand business through joint travel and coordinated efforts with Outside Sales, building strong customer relationships and targeting high-impact accounts Champion a holistic “Design-Test-Manufacturing” approach, working closely with Outside Sales to ensure all elements of the product journey align with strategic goals and customer expectations Maintain and oversee product documentation, from detailed specifications sheets to marketing collateral, ensuring accuracy and relevance to evolving customer needs Provide technical support for products, both internally to colleagues and externally to clients, establishing a reliable point of contact for troubleshooting and expertise Participate in regional trade shows, representing the company’s product lines and gathering insights on industry trends and competitor activity Track and report on trending products and emerging technologies to anticipate shifts in market demand and guide future product development Identify new target accounts and markets by attending trade shows, with a specific focus on identifying data center-focused opportunities for expansion Requirements Skills: Interpersonal Communication Skills Leadership Skills Decision Making Skills Presentations Project Management Time Management Customer Relations Professionalism Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in science or engineering preferred.
