For our client, we are seeking a Senior Director Biostatistics to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space. This role will lead initiatives at the intersection of scalable technology, AI-enabled capabilities, and business transformation. You will work across engineering, product, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and long-term innovation within a Pharmaceuticals & Biotech environment.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only; no visa sponsorship available.
Compensation: $248,000 – $372,000 annually
Responsibilities
Lead MAVS team in developing and executing phase IV study designs
Oversee the company's statistical strategy for secondary/tertiary publications using clinical trial data
Collaborate with HEOR to anticipate payer evidence needs and support HTA submissions with statistical insights
Support statistical methodology development for real‑world evidence studies
Manage a team of biostatisticians, ensuring quality analysis delivery
Maintain department standards in collaboration with Evidence and Value Generation leadership
Present study results to internal and external audiences
Qualifications
PhD in Statistics, Mathematics, or related fields
5-7 years of experience in a similar role with supervisory experience
Strong knowledge of drug development regulations and payer expectations for statistical analysis
Proficiency in SAS and a solid understanding of CDISC models and standards
Demonstrated leadership, writing, and excellent interpersonal skills
