This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Remote Philanthropy Data Analyst. In this role, you will serve as a key analytics partner, facilitating the transformation of complex fundraising data into clear, actionable insights. Your work will directly support the Philanthropy Effectiveness team, impacting both operational effectiveness and strategic decision-making. By closely collaborating with fundraisers and various internal teams, you will help enhance data-informed approaches to philanthropy. This position offers a unique opportunity to engage in meaningful analyses that drive impactful results while working in a flexible and dynamic remote environment.
Accountabilities
Act as a strategic analytics partner to department stakeholders, including fundraisers and teams within Philanthropy Effectiveness.
Query and analyze data from CRM and data warehouse to support operational reporting and performance tracking.
Design, build, and maintain Power BI dashboards that enable stakeholders to monitor performance and inform decision-making.
Translate business questions into analytical approaches, delivering clear insights using curated enterprise datasets.
Ensure analytics products align with enterprise data governance standards and best practices.
Contribute to Development data governance and promote strong data management and reporting standards.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree and 5 years related experience or equivalent combination.
Experience designing and generating reports, and manipulating data for analysis.
Knowledge of current technology in database management, data visualization, and analytics.
Experience with relational databases and manipulating relational data in various applications.
Skilled in collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive outcomes.
Familiarity with principles and practices of business intelligence.
