is looking for a Technical Project Manager (Telco Cloud Onboarding) to join our existing team. Role: Technical Project Manager (Telco Cloud Onboarding) Location: Remote Duration: 12+ Months Contract To Hire Technical Project Manager (TPM) to lead the onboarding of critical applications onto our private Telco Cloud. Candidate will act as the bridge between application providers, engineering teams, and program leadership to ensure cloud environments are built to precise specifications, on time, and at scale. This role requires a unique blend of technical depth in cloud infrastructure and operational excellence in resource scheduling across concurrent workstreams. Key Responsibilities
Technical Onboarding & Planning: Partner with application providers to translate their recommended specifications into actionable engineering requirements for the private cloud. Strategic Delivery: Work hand-in-hand with the Program Manager to align cloud build timelines with broader business milestones. Resource Orchestration: Manage and schedule Cloud and Network Engineering resources to execute multiple, parallel builds without bottlenecks. Process Automation: Oversee the delivery of cloud setups utilizing CI/CD frameworks and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to ensure repeatable and error-free deployments. Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary technical point of contact for application vendors, ensuring the underlying infrastructure meets performance and compliance standards. Technical Qualifications
Cloud & Containers: Proven experience delivering cloud infrastructure involving Kubernetes (K8s) ideally on the Red Hat stack (OpenShift)—and containerized workloads. Automation: Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and IaC principles (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, or GitOps). Infrastructure Depth: Strong conceptual understanding of: Compute: x86 server architecture. Networking: Data center fabric and telco-specific networking requirements. Storage: Block and Object storage configurations. Telco Context: (Preferred) Experience within a telecommunications environment, understanding the nuances of low latency and high availability. Professional Skills
Parallel Execution: Ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. Communication: Ability to translate complex technical blockers into clear status updates for non-technical stakeholders.
