Anesthesiologist

Locum Anesthesiologists needed to start ASAP and work ongoing near Central El Paso, TX. TX license preferred.

• M-F coverage, 10 hr is acceptable.

• Call Type: In-House.

• Practice Settings: Inpatient.

• We are looking for a general anesthesiologist (not pediatric) who is comfortable with regional anesthesia.

• No cardiac cases, no requirement to do Peds, premies or neonates.

• Peds experience is a plus but not required.

• Most cases will be MD supervising CRNAs, occasionally solo work.

• Types of surgery will be expected to be performed at this facility: Cardiac, Complete Ortho, Complex Vascular, Head Spine

• Neuro, OB, Pediatric, Regional, Thoracic.

• Preferred Specialty Skills: General Anesthesia, Adult, Pediatric, Neonatal, Trauma, Spinal Anesthesia, Epidural Anesthesia

• Regional Anesthesia Surgery, Obstetrical Cases, Neurosurgical cases, Head, Spine, Open Heart Anesthesia

• Thoracic cases (except open heart), Complex vascular cases (except open heart), Complex orthopedic cases, Pain management techniques, Post-op epidural, Post-op extremity blocks, Epidural steroid for Lumbar, Epidural steroid for Cervical, Transforaminal, Lumbar, Cervical, Use of x-ray guidance in performance of blocks, Ventilation management, Evaluation and management of acute volume/BP issues, Central Line placement, Arterial Line placement, PA Catheter placement, CRNA supervision.

• Number of Operation Rooms: 5.

• Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS.

• Licensed in TX only.

• No local candidates.

• EMR: Cerner.

• Credentialing: 90 days.

• $2,000 referral bonus received for any referral who works 30 days.

• $Competitive Rate weeknight call Premium if called in, Weekend Call equals 6 Regular Hours Per Day Premium When Called In.
