CREGG have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Chemist from a medical device manufacturing background to join our Galway based client. To hear more contact Rachel : / Responsibilities: Performs analytical testing on drugs and drug combination products with Liquid/Gas Chromatography, Elution, Spectroscopic and Wet Chemistry techniques. * Responsible for analytical test method development and validation activities. * Responsible for Laboratory investigations ensuring timely disposition/closure. * Responsible for accurate reporting and interpretation of results, trending, leading to investigation and production of technical reports. * Liaise with other departments on site (Quality, Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, and Engineering) to ensure efficient and robust processes are executed on site. * Provide technical support for instrumentation and analytical methodology and execute troubleshooting. * Drives continuous improvement projects to reduce testing lead-times/cost savings. * Works independently to plan and schedule activities to meet project timelines. * Supports Training of new colleagues. * Supports Internal and External Audit programs. * Support Regulatory submissions. Requirements: Level 8 degree in a Science or Engineering related discipline Minimum of 3 years experience INDTRAC Skills: analytical testing laboratory investigations quality
