The Sales Development Representative (SDR) is the first line of communication with a prospect, has a strong understanding of the sales process and excels at researching leads, starting new relationships, and setting up sales closers for success. The SDR is a quick learner who has strong communication skills and an ability to showcase our offerings in a compelling way and understands that every potential customer is an opportunity for boosting top-line revenue growth, customer acquisition levels, and profitability. The SDR is a full-time, remote position. The candidate must be based in North Carolina. Responsibilities
Make 50 outbound calls per day and send strategic follow-up emails to a curated list of prospective customers. Conduct in-depth discovery conversations to understand each prospect's business model, challenges and goals. Clearly communicate the value and benefits of NextLot’s online auction solutions. Consistently schedule an average of 3 attended sales demos per week for our sales executives Qualifications
A Bachelor's Degree is preferred but not required. A minimum of 1 year of experience in sales or lead generation. Prior SAAS software sales experience preferred Ability to make high volume outbound metrics: Cold calling, email, etc. Self-motivated, goal oriented and eager to contribute to team success Strong communication skills via phone and email. Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task effectively. Physical Requirements
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer Work hours are normally 9:30-5:30. Must be able to communicate clearly via phone, email, video call, and in-person Occasional travel to company meetings or industry events may be required. Seniority level
