Sales Executive Shakepay is seeking a proactive and results‑oriented Sales Executive to lead outbound sales efforts targeting Canadian businesses and high‑net‑worth individuals. This role focuses exclusively on customer acquisition through high‑touch outreach, relationship building, and tailored sales execution. You will source new leads, engage decision‑makers, and onboard new clients to Shakepay’s crypto‑powered financial platform.
Success in this role is measured by:
Number of new business and private client onboardings
Trading volume generated by your accounts
Net new revenue growth across your portfolio
Responsibilities
Lead outbound sales: proactively identify, qualify, and convert leads among business owners, entrepreneurs, and high‑net‑worth individuals.
Drive new revenue: own the full sales process—from outreach and first call to onboarding and initial funding.
Maintain a disciplined pipeline: manage activity and conversion metrics in HubSpot or equivalent CRM, optimizing for speed and volume.
Tailor the pitch: adapt Shakepay’s messaging to each prospect’s needs—whether it’s crypto treasury, efficient large trades, or long‑term BTC accumulation.
Work cross‑functionally: collaborate with Marketing, Customer Support, and Product to surface customer needs and improve our go‑to‑market approach.
Stay ahead of the market: monitor trends in digital assets, treasury management, and financial services to spot new opportunities and sharpen your sales angle.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in sales, business development, or relationship management—ideally in crypto, fintech, OTC trading, or asset management.
Strong track record of exceeding sales goals and scaling strategic accounts.
Deep understanding of crypto markets, trading behavior, and institutional buyer needs.
Experience working with a diverse customer base, including HNWIs, hedge funds, family offices, trading firms, and businesses.
Proficiency with CRM platforms such as Intercom, Salesforce, or HubSpot.
Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills with a bias toward action.
