Position Overview : The Business Analyst turns data into meaningful insights that support informed decision-making across the organization. By leveraging internal systems, third-party data, and modern analytics tools, this role enhances data processes and delivers key metrics in collaboration with internal teams, external vendors, and affiliated companies. The ideal candidate is a solution-oriented, analytical professional focused on uncovering trends and driving business performance. This role is hybrid and remote. Essential Job Functions : Partner with the business teams to define and deliver management information resources by contributing toward a vision, roadmap, solution design and tactical implementation plan. Work with internal and external resources to deliver management information systems. Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the reporting tools and data sources available to ORALT for the purpose of maximizing value for management information purposes. Work with data owners to implement standards and collection processes that ensure accurate and timely handling of data to meet the company information needs. Spearhead research into innovative technologies that transform management information delivery. Identify opportunities to improve business processes and business analytics through use of data tools. Additional job functions will be necessary for the success of this role. Qualifications : 5+ years’ experience in data analytics and associated toolsets. Demonstrated experience developing management information systems, analytics, and data management processes in a commercial lines Property & Casualty Insurance setting. Demonstrated experience with data analytics from a policy and claims perspective. Experience using Microsoft Fabric and Power BI, SQL, Python, Excel, Guidewire data tools or other data development and analytics tools. Proven record working with structured system development methodologies and designing business workflows. Strong verbal, written communication, and negotiation skills. Ability to work as a team player and build positive work team relationships. Skilled in leveraging Power BI, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Visio, and other productivity tools. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a P&C setting. CBAP, PMP, CPCU, Microsoft Fabric, Power BI or other data management related certifications are a plus.
