You’ve been a plumber for a while now, and you’re ready to lead the next generation of plumbing installers. Apply to be a Plumbing Install Assistant Manager!
Your Role
As a Plumbing Install Assistant Manager, you’ll:
- Lead specialty jobs (outdoor dig crews, pipelining, and construction crew). You believe in doing things the right way, not the easy way, and so do we! You’ll make sure all plumbing installation jobs keep to a standard we can all be proud of.
- Plan and run weekly meetings. Whether training on technical skills or soft skills (like communication), or just motivating the team, you’ll lead the weekly team meetings! You’ll share safety topics, plumbing techniques, and so much more.
- Handle customer concerns and protect our brand. Sometimes, mistakes happen and customers get stressed out and upset. When this happens, you’ll work with them to make sure everything’s taken care of! After all, we have high standards here, and we wanna do everything we can to maintain those (and make sure people know about them!).
- Interview, hire, onboard, and make sure technicians are successful here. Nothing’s more satisfying to you than helping others grow and achieve! You’ll be involved in hiring our newest plumbers and making sure they thrive. We hire talented plumbers, but you’ll teach and develop them to turn that talent into performance!
Some Highlights About the Job:
- You’ll have year-round stability.
- You’ll get to do what you do best—working with plumbers to help them grow into their best selves!
- Morris-Jenkins has been voted Top Workplace USA and Top Workplace Charlotte time and time again! Check out our awards here: Working at Morris-Jenkins Heating, Air, Plumbing, and Electrical | Top Workplaces
All About YOU
- You’ve got an NC plumbing license. You’re a plumbing pro! That’s why it’s about time you lead the next generation of plumbers. But you’re not the kind of person who thinks you know everything either. When you don’t have the answers, you love figuring them out and learning more!
- You’re caring and empathetic, but you’re not afraid to have the hard conversations. You’re great with people, and we love that about you!
- You enjoy coaching and helping others. You’re patient with others and love being a part in other people’s growth!
- You believe in jumping in and getting stuff done! You’re not the kind of person who sits around and waits. When someone needs help, you’re on it!
