Maintenance Plumber / Heating Engineer Location:Dublin / Leinster Company:Paragon Facilities About the Role We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Plumber / Heating Engineer to join our growing service division. The role is primarily field-based and involves carrying out planned maintenance, reactive callouts, fault finding and repair works across a range of commercial and industrial client sites. The ideal candidate will be capable of working independently, managing their own workload and representing the company professionally on site. Experience with commercial heating systems, plant rooms and general mechanical services is highly desirable. This role would suit someone coming from a maintenance, facilities, HVAC or mechanical services background who is looking for long-term stability and varied day-to-day work. Key Responsibilities Carry out reactive plumbing and heating callouts Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) works Fault finding and repair of plumbing and heating systems Diagnose issues on pumps, valves, pipework and associated equipment Carry out minor installation and remedial works where required Complete service reports and job documentation accurately Liaise with clients and management professionally on site Participate in on-call rota where required Systems & Equipment May Include Commercial heating systems Pumps and circulating systems Expansion vessels Pressurisation units Pipework and valves Domestic water services Plant room equipment General mechanical building services Candidate Requirements Qualified plumber with relevant trade experience RGI certification preferred Experience in maintenance and reactive service environments Ability to work independently and manage callouts Good fault-finding ability Full clean driving licence Strong communication and customer-facing skills Safe Pass and Manual Handling desirable Desirable Experience HVAC or mechanical services background Experience working in commercial buildings Knowledge of BMS / controls advantageous Experience with heating fault diagnostics Experience working alongside HVAC service teams Package Competitive salary based on experience Company vehicle Phone and tablet Overtime opportunities On-call allowance Training and development opportunities Long-term progression within a growing company Additional Information This is a hands-on role suited to someone practical, reliable and capable of working on their own initiative.
