Charlotte, NC - local/onsite required Pay Rate:
$85-95K Shift:
Standard business hours with occasional on-call weekend support Roles and Responsibilities Design and implement enterprise network solutions, including site surveys for new locations Provide day-to-day operational support for existing network infrastructure Perform maintenance patching and site refreshes as needed Support network operations within data centers, ensuring estate upkeep Lead multiple projects including site launches and refreshes (ranging from 50–1000 users) Manage, monitor, and troubleshoot network tools and infrastructure Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for network incidents Provide 3rd level network support across sites and data centers Participate in change management processes, including presenting changes at advisory board meetings Prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and maintain meticulous documentation Support both local and international travel requirements (up to 25%) for project assignments and maintenance Stay proactive in monitoring alert notifications and address/remedy network issues Offer technical recommendations to system administrators and application owners Collaborate with internal teams and customers for optimal network performance Remain committed to continuous improvement and learning within the role Qualifications & Skills Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent experience Minimum 4+ years of hands-on enterprise network experience Strong skills in Cisco switching, routing, and wireless infrastructure in large deployments Familiarity with SD-WAN, Firewalls, VOIP, network application tools, automation, and cloud migration Certifications such as CCNA required; CCNP is a strong plus Experience with Cisco, Palo Alto/Checkpoint/FortiGate Firewall and Velocloud SD-WAN desirable Demonstrated multitasking, prioritization, and analytical problem-solving abilities Previous experience following change management and control processes Excellent written and verbal communication skills Able to work independently and collaboratively Experience in network segmentation, customization/support of enterprise applications (switches, routers, access points, firewalls) Understanding of VOIP and protocols is beneficial Opportunities Become a subject matter expert in LAN/WAN/Wireless/Security/VOIP Grow your technical expertise through global projects and varied technology exposure Lead projects from concept through implementation, managing diverse locations and user groups Advance your skills with hands-on experience in cutting-edge network technologies Opportunities for international travel and cross-cultural collaboration Company Culture Supportive, professional, and collaborative work environment Emphasis on innovation, learning, and personal growth Commitment to teamwork, open communication, and mutual respect Values creative problem-solving, dedication, and excellence in both individual and team contributions Focus on delivering quality solutions and maintaining high technical standards
