DevOps Lead
Overview:
Client is on a journey to mature DevOps practices, and this role is key to driving that change. This individual will be setting the foundation for modern CI/CD, automation, and infrastructure best practices. Role combines strategic vision with hands-on work. Will work closely with senior leadership, product teams, and engineering teams to integrate new tools, strengthen infrastructure, and optimize processes. Senior DevOps Engineer responsible for leading and implementing DevOps practices in a .NET-focused environment, with some Java. Executes DevOps roadmap, automates CI/CD processes, and manages infrastructure at the enterprise level. cts as a bridge between technical teams and senior leadership, providing clear communication and guidance on DevOps initiatives. Hands-on role that also involves supporting and guiding offshore junior/mid-level team members.
Required :
8-10 years of enterprise-level DevOps experience with a focus on process optimization, automation, and CI/CD pipelines. Proficiency in Azure DevOps, TeamCity, Bitbucket, Azure Pipelines for CI/CD management. Strong experience with Terraform and Ansible for infrastructure as code (IaC) and automation. Hands-on experience with monitoring and incident management tools (Datadog, LogicMonitor, PagerDuty preferred) Strong business acumen and communication skills to articulate DevOps strategies and technical concepts to senior leadership and business teams.
Preferred :
Familiarity with SnapLogic for API management and integration. Knowledge of FreshService (or other ITSM tools like ServiceNow) to support IT workflows. Insurance industry experience is a plus but not required. Multi-platform experience in .NET and Java environments.
