Gastroenterologist

Locum Gastroenterologist needed to start ASAP and work ongoing near Falmouth, VA. VA license preferred.

• Outpatient shift from 7:30am - 5:00pm M-F.
• No Call.
• Practice Settings: Outpatient, Telehealth.
• Preferred Specialty Skills: Upper GI endoscopy, with biopsy, with foreign body removal, with fulguration of bleeder (cautery vs. laser), With injection of varices, ERCP (endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography), Diagnostic, Therapeutic
• With PEG (percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy), Esophageal dilatation/manometry, Esophageal manometry interpretation, Small Bowel biopsy, Lower GI endoscopy, Sigmoidoscopy, Flexible, Rigid, Colonoscopy, with biopsy
• with excision of polyp, Endoscopic ultrasound (EUS), Liver biopsy, Insertion/management of Sengstaken/Blakemore tube.
• Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS.
• Fellowship Required.
• Licensed in VA only.
• EMR: Epic.
• Credentialing: 90 days.
• $1,000 referral bonus received for any referral who works 30 days.
