Medical Assistant - Medical Assistant

This position is available for local and travel candidates. MA-C is preferred, but will accept MA-R with previous clinical experience if necessary. Start date: ASAP. Contract length: 13 weeks. Shift: 4x10hr days, 0730-1730 (Please note times for Monday shifts only are 0800-1700). Mon/Thurs shifts will be at the First Hill location (1101 Madison St Ste 301, Seattle, WA 98104), Tues shifts will be at the North Gate location (10416 5th Ave NE, Seattle, WA 98125), Tues shifts will be at the Canyon Park location (1909 214th St SE Ste 300, Bothell, WA 98021).

Years of experience required: At least 6 months of experience working as an MA, preferably in a dermatology, adult outpatient, pediatric, or private clinic. ENT experience is required.

First-timers accepted: Yes. Weekend required: No; schedule is Monday - Thursday. Certs required: BLS. Is on-call required? No. Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Yes, between clinics within skillset (First Hill on Mon/Thurs, North Gate on Tues, Canyon Park on Wed). Open to accommodating block schedule? No. Locals accepted: Yes; considered "local" within 50 mile radius, will accept locals at the same rate. Pending license accepted: Will accept MA-R (with previous clinical experience), but MA-C is preferred. RTO restrictions: Confirm with hiring manager. Guaranteed hours: Facility may call off traveler up to 1 shift per pay period (every 2 weeks).

Special notes: Candidate is expected to have reliable transportation (not public transportation) and no additional scheduling restrictions. All travel pairs will be required to have their own transportation. Candidate must have MA experience and good with computer skills/EMR as scribing during visits is part of their task. Occasionally there will be the opportunity for extra hours on Fridays if the MA is interested.
