Make a real difference as a travel Physical Therapist Assistant in Dover, DE working in home health. You will carry out treatment, implement and document patient status for home health patients under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist according to physician orders. Periodic office meetings and home visits are required. Reliable transportation, a current driver's license, and agency-required liability insurance are required.
Minimum Qualifications- Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational program.
- Active state PTA license is required to start the assignment in the state of practice.
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
- Familiarity with basic computer functions, including email, internet navigation, user names/password concepts, and online training and HR systems.
- Reliable personal transportation and current driver's license.
- Agency-required liability insurance as applicable.
- Home health experience preferred.
- Practice under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist as required by state regulations.
- Meet state-specific licensure or certification standards for PTAs where applicable.
- 23 years of experience as a licensed PTA in home health settings.
- Shift: Evenings, 5x8 schedule.
- Work includes home visits and periodic office meetings.
Provide skilled rehabilitation services to homebound patients under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist. Maintain accurate documentation, follow physician orders, and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support patient goals and safe transitions of care.
