Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
6+ years experience architecting and building large scale data platforms
Experience architecting and building large-scale data platforms, including data lakes and data marts
Proven experience as a Data Engineer or similar role, with a strong background in database design and development
Proficiency in SQL, data modeling tools, and ETL processes
Knowledge of reporting Looker, Power BI, or similar tools
Knowledge with Google BigQuery or equivalent
Familiarity with cloud platforms with GCP preferred
Experience using big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark)
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Experience with event-driven architecture and streaming data processing frameworks like Kafka, Spark, Flink is a plus
Knowledge of Postgres is a plus
