highly skilled Photonics Design Engineer
with a strong background in
high-speed SiPh Modulator design
to join a world-class team of engineers. This role is ideal for someone passionate about pushing the boundaries of optoelectronic component performance. Key Responsibilities
Design and simulate advanced silicon photonic components, with a strong emphasis on
Modulators , as well as detectors, waveguides, and passive/active structures Perform layout, modeling, and design for manufacturability (DFM) Collaborate closely with test and packaging teams to validate performance and analyze lab data Optimize performance across PVT (process, voltage, temperature) corners and drive improvements at the system level Qualifications
MSc or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Optics, or a related field 5+ years of experience in silicon photonics design , ideally including commercial or research-focused work on
high-speed SiP modulators Proficiency in industry-standard simulation tools (e.g., Lumerical, Ansys, COMSOL, or similar) Understanding of photonic and RF co-design principles Experience with optical lab characterization and measurement techniques (a plus) Work Model
